We first met Marie Prinvil at El Shaddai Ministries back in 2002. Marie had a vision to improve the lives of abandoned children and help families in Haiti who needed the basics of life...food, shelter, education, community support and a church body, to spread the gospel, the hope and love of Jesus.
Her love and dedication is inspiring to all who work with her. Through the last 17 years we have worked with Marie on numerous kids Bible club events, teen and adult discipleship workshops to build stronger relationships with Jesus Christ, food distributions, construction projects, and much more.
We have supported El Shaddai with the school component and with the church ministries, they are part of in their community and now to other parts of Haiti. If God wills, we plan to continue to support Haiti through El Shaddai ministries, with sandals on the ground as well as financial support. Marie is a faithful servant of God and the people of Haiti keeping the gospel at the center of everything she does.

We had the pleasure of traveling to Haiti in July 2018 for the purpose of mission work through El Shaddai Ministries.
My 17 year old daughter and I traveled with a large group from Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The mission trip was life changing! We were so encouraged by Marie & Elizabeth. They are so knowledgeable and the passion and love that they have for the people of Haiti is truly God inspired.
We witnessed the love of God being disseminated through acts of love. They understand the need because of the relationships they have been able to build over the years.
Their faith really caught my attention. When I asked Elizabeth about coming back she immediately encouraged me to pray to God and become clear on what He would have for us to do in Haiti.

As I observed them during the week spent with them, it became crystal clear that their passion is to ensure that the children receive an excellent Biblical Christian foundation.
I truly believe that our children are messengers that we send into the future, and El Shaddai, Marie, & Elizabeth are doing everything possible so that their kids have the right message!!

I encourage everyone to join God in what He is doing through Marie & Elizabeth (El Shaddai Ministries). They are impacting the Kingdom of God through their servant leadership and Agape love!

The Lord is at work in Dessources, Haiti thanks to the ministry at El Shaddai. I have been blessed to work with Marie and Elizabeth and El Shaddai on four separate week-long mission trips. Every trip was different, based on prayer and their current needs. While partnering with El Shaddai we have hosted Vacation Bible Schools, men and women’s Bible studies, food distributions, prayer walks and evangelism in the village.
I have seen children give their hearts to Jesus, which is truly a beautiful thing. Through these mission trips to Haiti I have been able to get to know Marie and Elizabeth and have seen their heart for Jesus and their desire to advance His kingdom, while caring for the people around them.

In July of 2018 the Lord asked me to go to Haiti with our college ministry that had been going to serve in Haiti for a number of years to the village of Dessources, outside of Port-au-Prince, working with two wonderful missionary ladies at El Shaddai Ministries, Marie Prinvil, and Elizabeth Clackler, who are both so totally dedicated to the work the Lord has called them to do in Haiti.
I had not known why the Lord asked me to go with a group of college students on this trip to Haiti, but by the end of the week, I knew without a doubt that God had placed me there for a specific purpose and that was to encourage the younger people and to share with them what the Lord was showing me through His eyes.    Sometimes He needs to take us out of our comfort zone and show us hard things in order for us to see through His eyes and what He needs us to do.  I am so very grateful that He called me to go and serve Him in Haiti with EL Shaddai Ministries, for revealing Himself to me in such a powerful way, and for instilling in me such a deep passion for the people of Haiti and the work there.

I have always done mission trips, but I have never done one out of the country before. I was totally scared at first and did not know what to expect when I got there. When the group got to El Shaddai Ministries, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us. We did Vacation Bible School with the kids which was so much fun to do. We had a day for a food distribution. We also had a day where we went out into the village to talk to the people about God and to see if they knew Him. If not, we told them about Him and how to be saved as well. I am a firm believer of God, but the people of Haiti in El Shaddai Ministries have so much faith in God that I have never seen so strong in my life until I came here. You could feel the Holy Spirit moving within El Shaddai Ministries. I left there with a totally different understanding of God’s grace, mercy, and love over such an amazing group of people at this Ministry and all that they do for the people.

"If you are not moved when a child tells you that they have never had a toy, that they have never slept in a bed, and that they are not sure when or if they will eat again than you need to check your pulse."

These children have the same capabilities as our own children, the same need for godly influences as our own children, and the same eternal soul as our own children.

One evening during an outdoor crusade at El Shaddai the storms rolled in. People began using the massive tarps that they were sitting on as shelter from the rain. At the end of the crusade an altar call was given to follow Christ. Not a person moved out from under the tarps because the rain was coming down so hard. However, as I watched I saw a child step out into the mud and walk across the field. This child all by herself heard the call of God and responded. This child would lead the way for all us to have faith and courage.

These children are not someone else's problem. These children matter to the heart of God and if you and I could check the pulse of God we would feel His love for them.

Over the years I have had the personal opportunity to interact with the children of El Shaddai along with the community of Dessources. They are stories of lives that have been changed not because of the government but because of the gospel.

We have watched parents who could not take care of their children reach out to El Shaddai for help with food, clothing, and education.

Families that have been controlled by witch craft and false religions walk out from under the fear of demons to faith in Christ.

Over the past 15 years we have served El Shaddai children and families, through kid's programs, marriage conferences, and crusades. El Shaddai continues today to offer hope to children and families that are discouraged, displaced, and sometimes destitute.

I thank God for El Shaddai and have always believed Matthew 25 "when you have done it unto one of the least of these you have done it unto Me."
