Luke 2:52 says that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and
man. Our desire is that each child the Lord puts in our care will grow intellectually,
physically, spiritually and socially just as Jesus grew. Education is very important
to the growth of a child and ESCM helps many children to go to school and obtain
an education. We help each child by giving them backpacks, school supplies,
school shoes and pay their tuition throughout the school year. Helping all the
children of El Shaddai Children Home is our first priority. We make sure each one
is attending elementary school, secondary school, college or a trade school until
they are able to be a productive citizen in Haiti.
El Shaddai Christian Academy was established in 2018 to help the young children
in Dessources to have an understanding of who God is and to obtain a stable
environment to began their education. Our motto is “Rearing a New Generation
for Jesus in Dessources.” For the 2019-2020 school year, we have a staff of 1
director, 1 assistant director who is also a teacher, 3 teachers, 2 kitchen staff, 2
aides and 1 gate keeper. We have an enrollment of 40 students from pre-
kindergarten to second grade. The students are taught the Word of God as well as
respect for their country and the necessary academics to have a sound
educational foundation. Through prayer and donations, the Lord has provided for
every need and we trust Him to continue to supply as the need arises.
ESCM also helps other children in Dessources and surrounding areas to attend
school as the Lord supplies. Education is very important to us and to the children
of Haiti. We believe the Lord will send us more children each year to help them
with their education and to encourage them in the Word of God. It is a great
privilege to help every child that comes our way. We give the Lord all the glory!
